If you are on a call queue for your department or do not want to receive phone calls while you are already on the phone you will need to change your settings within Teams.
To do so first click on the three dots in the top right corner of your Teams client and select “Settings.”
On this page click on “Calls” and then select the drop down box under “When you’re in a call and receive another call”
To prevent calls from showing up while in a call select the option “Redirect as if call is unanswered.”
*Note* This option will not appear if you have opted to “Forward all calls” so to get to this option disable automatic forwarding.
You can also set this up to play a busy signal but this is not advised if you are answering calls on a call queue as it prevents calls from rolling over to the next agent.
